Refund / Return Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within 5 business days of receiving your item. If approved, we may issue store credit only once the item is returned to us.

To qualify for store credit:

  • Item must be unused and in original condition

  • Item must be returned promptly

  • Customer must contact us before sending the item back

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, store credit will be issued if approved.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for store credit.


Custom Orders

We love creating custom pieces for our customers.

Once your custom order has been finalized and payment has been made, the design cannot be changed. This includes once materials have been cut or custom components have been ordered.

Custom pieces require significant time, planning, and preparation to create a one-of-a-kind product.

If a design change is requested after finalization, a $25 modification fee will apply if the change is still possible.

Custom items are non-refundable and non-returnable.


Repairs

Within 6 months of purchase, L3 Designs Leather will repair an item if the damage is due to an error on our part.

After 6 months:

  • Customers are responsible for repair costs

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs

Repairs that are not due to manufacturing defects will also be the customer’s responsibility.


Leather & Hair on Hide Disclaimer

L3 Designs Leather uses authentic, natural leather and hides, which means each item will vary slightly in:

  • Texture

  • Tone

  • Pattern

This is part of what makes each piece unique and one-of-a-kind.

Hair-on-hide products may experience natural shedding over time. Shedding varies depending on the hide type and how it is processed.

To reduce shedding:

  • Avoid excessive friction

  • Do not apply chemical fixatives or sprays to the hide

These can permanently damage the material.


Product Care

We are not responsible for normal wear caused by use. This includes:

  • Friction or rubbing

  • Chipping or wear of leather

  • Overloading bags

  • Improper care

  • Exposure to harsh conditions

Proper care will extend the life of your leather item.

Cleaning recommendations:

  • Use a damp cloth with mild soap

  • Never submerge leather or cowhide in water

  • Cowhide may be lightly vacuumed if necessary

Our leather items include a light protectant, but they are not designed for heavy moisture or extreme environments.

Ready-to-ship orders typically ship within 1–2 business days, unless otherwise stated.

Once an order has been shipped and accepted by the carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.), the carrier becomes responsible for the package and delivery timeline. L3 Designs Leather is not responsible for shipping delays once the package is in the carrier’s possession.

If a package is delayed, held, or requires delivery clarification, the recipient may need to contact the carrier directlyto obtain the most accurate delivery information. While we are always happy to assist in monitoring shipments, delivery investigations, updates, and claims must be handled directly through the carrier once the package has been accepted by them.

Customers are offered Route Package Protection at checkout, which is optional shipping insurance that covers packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. If Route protection is declined, any shipping issues must be resolved through the carrier’s claims process, and L3 Designs Leather cannot guarantee reimbursement for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

Once a package is marked Delivered by the carrier, L3 Designs Leather is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Customers are encouraged to contact the shipping carrier or their local authorities if a delivered package cannot be located.

By completing a purchase with L3 Designs Leather, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these shipping terms and understands that responsibility for the package transfers to the shipping carrier once it has been accepted and scanned into their system.


Custom Order Turnaround Time

Current custom order turnaround time is approximately 8–12 weeks.

Turnaround time begins once all materials have been received and the order is fully paid.
